Charles Morden Construction Inc. has been family owned in Midland since 1953, when it began building service and cottage roads around Port Severn and Big Chute. The second and third generations now run a residential, municipal and commercial contractor working across Georgian Bay, Muskoka, Port Carling and Lake Simcoe. Services include excavation, landscaping, sand and gravel, civil construction, and waterfront and shoreline work such as shoreline restoration and break walls. Its onsite septic division covers septic design, permit assistance, filter beds, septic tanks and advanced treatment units such as the Waterloo Biofilter. It owns multiple aggregate sites of its own, and commercial site servicing runs from design and build to maintenance and repair.
